Zipline FAQs

What time do we need to check in for our tour?

We do require everyone to arrive (30) minutes prior to their scheduled tour time.

Where do we check in at?

Ka'anapali tour:  check-in at our retail store located at the Fairway Shops - Ka'anapali, Maui. 

Akaka Falls tour:  check-in at our retail store located on Honomu Road - Honomu, Big Island.

Haleakala tour:  check-in at our paviliion located on Crater Road on the way to Haleakala National Park - Kula, Maui.

Driving directions are included with your confirmation email.

What shoes can I wear?

Athletic or hiking shoes are required for all tour locations.

NO Teva's, Keene's, Crocs, Skeletoes or Sketcher Shapers allowed on the course.  

Please note that we have a limited amount of shoes available for loan at our Ka'anapali & Haleakala courses for your convenience.

What should I wear?

Ka'anapali tour:  Shorts, t-shirt, white clothing not recommended 

Akaka Falls tour:  Shorts or long pants are fine, light jacket, white clothing not recommended

Haleakala tour:  Shorts or long pants are fine, light jacket

Is there an age requirement?

Ka'anapali tour:  Guests MUST be 10 years or older. 

Akaka Falls tour:  Guests MUST be 10 years or older.

Haleakala tour:  Guests MUST be 8 years or older.

Anyone under the age of 18 will be required to complete their own waiver and have a responsible adult sign the form for them. This does not need to be a parent or legal guardian.

Are there weight restrictions?

Ka'anapali tour:  Guests MUST weigh between 80 lbs and 260 lbs. 

Akaka Falls tour:  Guests MUST weigh between 80 lbs and 260 lbs.

Haleakala tour:  Guests MUST weigh between 60 lbs and 260 lbs. 

This Policy is STRICTLY ENFORCED, for your own safety.  All participants will be weighed at check in and those that do not comply will not be allowed to zip and no refunds will be issued.

I'm going scuba-diving the day before my tour, is that ok?

Customers MUST NOT have been scuba diving within 24 hours of scheduled tour time for both the Haleakala and Ka'anapali tours.

What's the cancellation policy?

We have a generous cancellation policy.  24 hours or more before your tour and you will receive a 100% refund.  Less than 24 hours, no refund.  

Are there any health issues I should consider?

You must not be pregnant.

Customers with serious neck, back, or joint injuries or chronic heart problems should use their own discretion about their capabilities to safely participate in this activity. It is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that anyone with who has had recent surgery, especially on ankles, knees or their back, not participate in this tour.  Although we try to always make customers comfortable both physically and mentally, some degree of impact on joints or some degree of customer anxiety about zipping is unavoidable.

Is ziplining safe?

Skyline Eco-Adventures uses the highest quality equipment that is thoroughly inspected on a regular basis. We have safely crossed customers over millions of ziplines. The experience is very safe and extremely fun.

Cancellation policy:

We have a 24-hour cancellation Policy. You must cancel at least 24 hours before your tour to receive a full refund. Please call our Reservation Department at (808) 878-8400 for questions or service.
