Conservation & Community Outreach
Skyline Eco-Adventures was founded with the Mission:
To provide a safe and exciting means for seeing and experiencing the natural wonder of the Hawaiian Islands while always aiding in the preservation and perpetuation of the island's unique land and culture, so that they may retain their body and spirit for all future generations.
It is that vision which has lead our company to donate hundreds of thousands of dollars to conservation groups, reforest hundreds of native trees and plants, and educate our guests about the irreplacible nature of our environment. In the years since we first opened we have expanded our mission to include the same committment to conservation in every area that we operate.
Company-wide we are committed to the following initiatives:
1% For The Planet
Skyline is the first Zipline operator in the World to join "1% For The Planet" a group of businesses committed to giving at least 1% of all sales back to environmental preservation. Skyline's donation program gives significant financial support to numerous non-profits. Supported groups are unique to each location, as it is our firm belief at Skyline that it is our responsibility to help drive conservation efforts in every region in which we operate. Furthermore, this approach lets our guests know a portion of their money is supporting the same natural and cultural resources they are seeing and learning about on their tour.
Carbon Neutral
In 2007 Skyline committed to making all tours and adventures Carbon Neutral. Skyline strives to reduce it's carbon emission and whatever can not be eliminated is offset through our partnership with Carbon Fund. By operating as a "Carbon Free" business - Skyline Tours do not contribute to the growing problem of Global Warming - a critical step toward sustainability for ourselves and our Planet.
